The integration of business information systems is one of the core topics of business informatics. On January 16th at 2 p.m. (room R09 R04 H02) Mr. Philipp Deth of the Capgemini Germany GmbH will give an insight into this topic from view of the IT consultation. Specifically, the challenges and design possibilities of integrating business information systems in the automotive industry will be discussed and discussed against the background of some architectures and approaches proposed in the literature (e.g. EAI, SOA). The lecture takes place within the module Integration of Business Information Systems 2, so that the strong relationship between the content of the lecture and the topic promises some interesting discussions.
