Green Information Systems
Green Information Systems (Green IS) deals with information systems and their influence on the sustainable development of organisations and society. Sustainability means that both present and future generations can fully satisfy their needs. In Business Information Systems, the ecological dimension of sustainability, which deals with the efficiency of information systems, is of particular interest.
